Looking back, 2011 has been a wonderful year. I got to perform on the Legendary Rhythm and Blues Cruise (a dream come true), released my 3rd CD, started working with my manager Cindy Da Silva, had a blast shooting a music video with a Saturday Night Live producer, followed by a video launch party at the Gibson Showroom, opened an amazing sold out show for Joan Osborne in NYC, got nominated for a Blues Blast Music Award, and wrote & released a Christmas song I'm extremely proud of. In between all this I traveled, toured, met lovely new people, had wonderful adventures & made great memories with family & friends. I'm very lucky & 2012 is sure to bring good things (including age 27 & a new CD in the spring!!) Happy holidays & best wishes for the new year!!

Been getting lots of love from Philly!! Thank you to the Sellersville Theater for always having me (I'm coming back next year!), to Nick Cristiano from the Philadelphia Inquirer for my putting my CD on his top 10 list for 2011 and to WXPN for spinning my Christmas single "Shine Down On Us", and thanks to my friends from the area who are always so supportive. I don't perform in the city enough but I'm going to change that in 2012!!

The show is hosted by A.J Pero from Twisted Sister.

Past guests include Richard Dreyfuss, L.L Cool J, & Chubby Checker, among many others.

At the end of the show she'll be jamming with Sony Records recording artists from Sweden, LOWE
The show will be part of CMJ 2011 (College Music Journal)

Hey everybody,
As you probably know, I love to sing and have fun, and now I want YOU to get in on the action and show me what you've got!

You see, I'm holding a little contest.

I've got a song called "Addicted", that frankly, I'm hooked on singing. Now it's YOUR turn to get addicted and sing this song to ME in your best and most creative way possible!

And don't think your efforts will go unrewarded! We've got prizes!

-1st runner up gets an autographed copy of all 3 of my CDs (Allow Me To Confess, Hey Sugar, & Can't Control Myself) as well as an autographed poster!
-Grand Prize…are you ready? You not only get to go out for dinner with me and the band, but you get to make a cameo appearance in my next music video!!

So get singing!! But before you do that here's a short list of rules:

1) You must film yourself performing "Addicted" in its entirety. Sing it (or rap) a cappella or accompanied by an instrument, but either way there must be singing going on!! (and no lip-syncing to the track!!)
2) All the lyrics to the song must be correct. No changes. You can learn the lyrics here: http://ginasicilia.com/fr_lyrics
3) Once complete, upload your video to YouTube and make it a video response on my "Addicted" video page: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lZGPDSgbRso
4) You will have 10 days to do this. The deadline is Friday, October 7th at 12PM PT. Winners will be announced at 3PM ET on October 10th
5) Don't be shy!!! Channel your inner Aretha Franklin or James Brown and belt it out with style and soul. I know you've got it in you.

Great news!! Gina has been nominated for a 2011 Blues Blast Music Award in the category of
the "Sean Costello Rising Star Award", an award in honor of the late young blues musician, Sean Costello.

These awards are given by Blues Blast Magazine, a free online blues publication. This is Gina's second
Blues Blast nomination. She was nominated in 2008 for "Best New Artist".
